The roots of knowledge
Source Policy
KARADAVI is a verifiable knowledge platform. Every factual claim is bound to a primary or authoritative secondary source.
Roots of Knowledge
KARADAVI does not establish truth; it records verifiable facts. For a fact to be recorded in the knowledge graph or published in an article, it must be supported by a reliable source. Unverifiable assertions are not published.
Every claim in KARADAVI is stored with a direct reference to its source. Where a source is available online, a link is provided. This traceability allows readers to independently verify information and provides a mechanism to update claims if a primary source is later amended.
Source Hierarchy
We prioritise primary sources over secondary interpretations:
- Tier 1 — Primary Sources: SEC filings, official press releases, patent filings, peer-reviewed academic papers, court records, and verified direct statements.
- Tier 2 — Authoritative Investigative Journalism: In-depth reporting from established publications with rigorous fact-checking standards and clear editorial independence.
- Tier 3 — Reference Works & Institutional Records: Historical archives, corporate histories, and academic reference works.
Conflicting Sources & Corrections
When authoritative sources conflict, KARADAVI does not unilaterally choose a single winner. Instead, we document the conflict, attributing each claim to its respective source.
If a cited source is found to be inaccurate, superseded, or misrepresented, we update the associated claims immediately upon verification.
